Mike Connell started working on small engines 25 years ago for a great guy who became his mentor, teaching him everything he needed to know about this industry. Mike learned everything he could and quickly became an expert on the intricacies of small engine repair. This lead to him starting this business as a one-man show in a small building in Seneca, MO.
Pretty soon, people came to see how talented Mike was at fixing engines for lawnmowers, chainsaws, and weed eaters, and business started to pick up quickly. We started hiring new staff so Mike could focus on fixing engines, and it wasn’t long before we outgrew our small building and had to build a bigger one.
After a while, we decided a new location was needed in Joplin, MO. We closed our Seneca location and opened a large store in Joplin. Once again, M & K Outdoor Product’s business started to expand.
Today, we continue to serve our customers like they’re our own family because they are to us. Our goal is for everyone who enters our door to know we care about them and are here for them after their small engine service.
